geoSmart is rda's versatile geodemographic segmentation system, based on the principle that people with similar demographic profiles and lifestyles tend to live near each other.

geoSmart geodemographic segments are produced by clustering a highly customised array of Census demographic measures and modeled characteristics. The clustering creates a single segment code that is represented by a descriptive statement or thumbnail sketch.
